Burning church at Yida campVery sad and shocking news that has been received in the liaison office in Juba South Sudan from Yida camp which is supported by photos taken during the burning of three churches two belonging to the ECSS &S on block 7 and one belonging to the Sudanese Church of Christ in block 5. The first church burned was the church of Christ on the 15th of January, St Stephens the biggest church in Yidan camp and St Peter's churches were both burned on 16th January . This happened in Yida Camp in Unity State, the camp is on the border between South Sudan and Sudan where many Nuba people are sheltering from the violence in the Nuba Mountains. The person or people who did this are not yet known.

Therefore, we are requesting your prayers and support to all Sudanese Christians and refugees in Yida camp so that they stand firm and rebuild these churches. All in God we trust and believe.
